Fees
Fees are used to maintain, develop and operate the database. All earnings go towards funding the maintenance and development of the NDFF. A part of this involves sustaining and, where possible, extending volunteer networks. These fees are excluding VAT.
Standard delevery fee
The standard fee for one square kilometre plot is €300. This gives you access to observations about all species in one particular square kilometre plot. If you wish to receive observations about less than five species, the fee will be correspondingly lower. You can also order data about 1 or several species. The fee per square kilometre plot depends on the number of plots requested.

Summarized data delivery fee
An overview of summarized data costs €20 per square kilometer plot. Each tenth square kilometer plot is free per delivery. If you order a standard delivery of the same square kilometre plot within 3 months, this fee will be deducted.
Data delivery fee for waterbirds count areas
The standard fee for one square kilometre plot is €100. The counting areas for water birds are pre-established. We can automatically determine how many square kilometre plots there are in one such area. You will receive all observations of water birds in the selected square kilometre plots that are collected according to the NEM protocol of the water birds monitoring program. The fee per individual square kilometre plot depends on the size of the water birds counting area.
You can also order data about species other than water birds. For individual species, the fee applicable per square kilometre plot for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 species is 30%, 60%, 80%, 90% and 100%, respectively.

Subscription
The NDFF subscription fee for municipalities is calculated based on the number of inhabitants and the size of the municipality. We have 7 categories for the number of inhabitants*. Each category has a standard basic fee. Then the size* of the municipality is established in square kilometres. If the municipality is smaller than 25 square kilometres, a 20% discount is deducted. If the municipality is larger than 150 square kilometres, 20% is added to the fee.
